The snow seemed to enhance the beauty of the stadium, built for 1912 games with a castle type look.
The Royal box was just amazing, and best bit - the stadium was open as an athletics club was meeting before setting off on a morning run, unlike in the UK the snow does not stop daily life.
It is a 'must see' stadium and you can still even get a game in, womens and junior football still played there with some of the Stockholm senior sides still occasionally playing games there.
It has some similarities with the 1936 Berlin Olympic stadium but also reminded me of the old football stand at the Stade De Vivier d'Oie in Brussels, that is now used for hockey.
