Not cheap - but well worth the money - not USA coming to the UK however an American Sport given a British twist. Massive crowd - probably the highest crowd Baseball will see in the regular season this year.
Slow start then the Cubs scored at regular intervals, for what turned out to be an easy win.
The souvenir and American food shops did well as did the British bars!
Thursday 22 June 2023, Thetford Town 2 March Town 2 - PSF, @Newmarket Town - Cricket Field
I know it is June! But as a PSF, first game of 23/24 for me - impressed with the fitness of both teams and some good football on display, however the Thetford keeper may wonder how he let the second March goal in.
Certainly the football was of a far better quality than I expected in a PSF. You can see why the Cambridgeshire League play their finals here, good set up, bar doing well and fast service for hot drinks and burgers.
