Inspired?

Saturday 8 April 2023, Unity 1 Kesgrave Kestrels 2 - Suffolk and Ipswich League, Division 4, Inspire Suffolk

Had to stay local so a spot of Futbology pitch chasing! Played here numerous times when I was a kid, but needed a game to record for the App.. Just a large school playing field attached to Suffolk Inspire, a former school (Nacton Heath/Holywells) now a community facility run by a charity, Inspire Suffolk. Titus Bramble being the former pupil who went on to a top level career in the game, who would have called this pitch, home.

Pitch in a very poor condition , but there are plans to improve the facilities and pitches, possibly with a G4 cage - working alongside the University of Suffolk, who did use the ground before, but have recently moved away as the pitch is so poor.

Football wise, not sure either team had an attempt on goal in the first half, the second half did improve with Kesgrave taking the lead, however Unity quickly got back on terms before the visitors got a winner with just 2 minutes of the game left.

Referee did well to only book two players and keep all 22 on he pitch. not a dirty game but far too much arguing and 'gamesmanship' on display.
