Northern town, old school ground
Saturday 29th September 2012, Barnsley 1 Ipswich Town 1, Oakwell - Championship.
I love visiting Barnsley, good friendly feel to both the town and the ground. A short walk up a hill from the town centre then when you get to the top you look down and see the back of the old stand.
Should have been beaten, good first half but under the cosh in the second- so a point was not a bad return.
Finished the day by spending the night in the town - an experience not to be forgotten.

A bridge over the Orwell

Rubbish second half but a much needed win.
Went across the Sir Bobby Robson bridge, pity the developers, Fairview cannot or have not put up a sign by the bridge.
