Friday 6 November 2026, Bungay Town 1 Beccles Town 0 - Anglian Combination, Premier Division, Maltings Meadow
Local derby and a big crowd in attendance but the visitors left their shooting boots at home having plenty of chances and goalmouth scrambles and almost scoring in the first minute of the game. They were made to pay just before half time when a Bungay player received the ball with his back to goal on the edge of the box and hit a grteat overhead kick from a standing position which sailed over the keeper into the roof of the net. The Bungay now move up to 3rd with this win while Beccles can be overtaken at the top if 2nd placed Sprowston win on Saturday.
