Football season almost over
Saturday 4 May 2013, Burnley 2 Ipswich Town 0, Championship - Turf Moor
We were already safe so a relaxing trip up north via the scenic rail link from Leeds to East Lancashire.

Welcoming locals with cheap food and beer at Burnley Cricket Club, so as the football season comes to an end and the cricket is starting - how fitting to be at a ground where both sports sit next to each other

Pride back
Saturday 10 November 2012, Ipswich Town 2 Burnley 1 - Portman Road, Championship
Before the game the players shook hands with soldiers from 1 Royal Anglians - the soldiers had just returned from Afghanistan - the fighting spirit rubbed off on the players as like our British soldiers, they showed pride, determination and fighting spirit- pride is back.

Why the red card
Wednesday 21st March 2012, Ipswich Town 1 Burnley 0, Championship - Portman Road
Two teams trying to pass the ball, first half boring, second half far better and then in a game with hardly any fouls- the ref sends Grant Leadbitter off! Why?

Looks like it might be a good seaon
Saturday 14th August 2010 - Ipswich Town 1 Burnley 1
Well the youngsters showed they are talented, and if we get a few good players in this week this amy be a season to remember, pity the Walters/Counago/Keane thing is putting a slight black cloude over what has been a promising start.
