Easy win for the home side and only surprise is that we saw no goals in the second half. The home side scored in the 6th, 10th, 31st and 42nd meeting in a first half where they totally dominated their opponents.
Second half did see Soham improve but the hosts should have had a 5th when they did score but the Ref was too far away to see that the ball had easily crossed the goal line. The lino was one of the visitors, who was even further away from the goal.
No doubt about this game being on as the pitch was in superb condition, a slight slope probably helps with drainage. Roped off on 3 sides, 2 dugouts and surrounded by hedges, giving the pitch an enclosed feel. Clubhouse was small but had a full bar and hot drinks and burgers also on sale.
The home team have games in hand on a number of the teams above them, expect them to be top 3 finisher by May.
