As my daughter now lives in Farnham, surprised it took me so long to get here - in that time Farnham as a football club have been on the up- and I could see today that they are still going in an upward direction both on and off the pitch.
Football wise- it took just 6 minutes to see Farnham two up, and with Tiverton bottom, I thought this could be a slaughter however Tiverton made a few changes in formation and that was it goal wise for the first half.
It took till the 71st minute for Farnham to get their third goal, we then saw numerous changes and the fresh legs helped Farnham keep on top and two late goals were added in the 86th and 88th minute.
Off the pitch, you can see Farnham will have issues as they go up the leagues, really just a 3 sided ground with little room to build but they are making a good effort- with a new stand being built on the grass bank at the Clock End, but good to see the quirky bits still on show, the elevated views above the corner flag and the odd slopes to stand on. Where Farnham could show a few EFL clubs a thing or two, is on the Catering and drink side- numerous huts selling beer (brewdog) and food, with seats and old beer barrels to put your been on.
