Spectator sport?

Wednesday 15 June 2016 - Mens Hockey Champions Trophy - Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis centre, Olympic Park - Day 4

Yet another visit to the Olympic Park - this time for hockey and I was impressed with the facilities at the north end of the park on the old Eton Manor site.

I enjoyed the evening and great value of 3 games for £25. But not sure that some of the defensive play, lack of shots and goals will ever make this a true mass spectator sport - very impressed with the Belgian dribbling and the GB Goalkeeper - George Pinner (and he is an ITFC fan!)

All for free!

Last game of the season for me and it was a nice surprise - the FA gave the crowd both free admission and a free programme!

The game was competitive, plenty of goals and rather than a half time Bovril it was a 99 ice cream!

Impressed with the ground and yet another club benefiting from a G3 pitch
